My dad and I will be part of a global(x) team traveling to serve at La Casa de mi Padre in El Salvador. La Casa creates a Christ-centered family environment of love and acceptance for children separated from their biological families while helping those families work toward restoration and reunification. 

In El Salvador, our team will help with maintenance and landscaping projects, play games and sports with the children living at La Casa, and hike to nearby rural communities to deliver food and other supplies. While the projects we contribute to will help the community, the goal of our journey is relational investment in the children and foster families we’ll meet.

El Salvador is a beautiful land of volcanoes, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. Yet as the most densely populated country in Central America, cycles of broken families and extreme poverty are difficult to escape. Our mission is to support and encourage the local leaders who are caring for the country’s most vulnerable children, and we can’t wait to connect with, invest in, work alongside, and get to know them.
