Bring your work gloves and your heart for service on this journey to the Florida Panhandle, where you’ll assist the Lighthouse Family Retreat staff with a list of hands-on tasks.

Each year, Lighthouse hosts hundreds of families living through childhood cancer. They’ve been invited to spend a week at the beach resting, relaxing, and experiencing a few days of much-needed joy, laughter, and kindness. 

That incredible work requires a mountain of behind-the-scenes preparation before retreats begin, so together with the Lighthouse staff, this journey team will pitch in on logistics like:

• Preparing and loading retreat supplies at the LFR warehouse.

• Transporting and delivering materials to various retreat sites.

• Assembling tents and setting up tables, chairs, etc.

• Completing other light construction projects.

As part of this task-focused team, you will play a critical role in creating a stress-free retreat experience for families in the midst of cancer treatment. Thanks to your time, energy, and effort, signage will welcome families to the beach, tents will create spaces for fun and laughter, and tables will be filled at every meal.
