2020 Tennessee Transit
- Jun 14 2020 - Jun 18 2020
- Chattanooga, TN
About the Journey
Through our partnership with YouthWorks, this Transit team of parents and students will head to Tennessee. Our northern neighbor, Chattanooga, sits just 118 miles northwest of Atlanta. It’s a city surrounded by mountain views and boasts the nickname “Scenic City.”
This opportunity offers two unique opportunities for service. The first is with four local recreation centers where YouthWorks facilitates Kids Club programming each week. Activities will include Bible lessons, games, crafts, reading, and fellowship.
The second is with land preservation organizations—a wonderful opportunity to care for God’s creation.
In the evenings, the team can explore Lookout Mountain and the town of Chattanooga, including the Riverfront Parkway and the Walnut Street Bridge. At the end of the week, they’ll visit with local residents at a community cookout.
For both parents and students, this is a highly rewarding experience that encourages leadership and spiritual growth. If you’re interested in taking this journey, apply now!
Note that parents are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to get to and from Chattanooga.
Please apply for ONE student trip at a time.
Price listed is per person.
