2020 Kenya Browns Bridge InsideOut

Jul 2 2020 - Jul 11 2020
Nairobi, KE

About the Journey

Through our partnership with 410 Bridge, this student team will head to Kenya. From snowcapped mountain peaks to extensive forests to wide-open plains, it’s a geographically diverse country situated on the equator in East Africa.

From Atlanta, the team will fly to Europe and then catch a second flight to the capital city of Nairobi. With a late local time arrival, they’ll head to a hotel outside the city for an overnight stay. In the morning, the team will head to a rural Kenyan community. It’s a few-hour adventure to get there, but once you arrive, it will be “home” for the next week.

The InsideOut team will work alongside the 410 Bridge staff and the community’s local Leadership Council. The Leadership Council consists of pastors and other respected leaders who are well versed in the needs of their community. They’ll ensure the team’s time is spent in the most impactful ways.

The team will also lead and participate in lessons and discussions with Kenyan students about topics like education, social issues, and social pressures. They’ll encourage one another to be leaders and influencers in their community for Christ and learn from one another and gain new perspectives. Finally, before the visit is complete, the team will head out on an African safari to experience the beauty of the natural wildlife!

Sharing the love of Jesus with other students is an amazing growth opportunity that can be life changing in many different ways.

A visa is REQUIRED for entry to Kenya, and is the responsibility of the team member. See "Prerequisites" and "Forms" below.

New for 2020!

You're busy enough, so we're taking some things off your to-do list! We've reduced the number of forms you need to complete, simply by adding a few questions to the global(x) application. Students, if you are under the age of 18 and will be at the time of travel, you will need a parent present to help you complete this part of the application. And, no more paper copies of your passport needed, just upload it in your application or to your ServiceReef profile, and you're done!

About global(x)
