2017 Haiti Hurricane Relief Trip Interest
On October 4th, Hurricane Matthew, a category 4 storm, hit Haiti and devastated the communities we serve through The 410 Bridge. The death toll is climbing, and many are fighting Cholera. Most of the homes were completely destroyed and schools and churches damaged. The people of Haiti are struggling for food, water, and shelter.
The 410 Bridge was one of the first organizations to reach these devastated communities. Over the past few weeks they have been partnering with Samaritan's Purse, Water Missions, and Map International to get needed food, water, and medicine to those in desperate need.
We have an opportunity to help the incredible Haitian people rebuild after this tragic hurricane. In order to do that, we need volunteers willing to give of their time and resources. We have been told that sending a team of 10 people each week for the forseeable future would help tremendously in the relief effort. We may not be able to send a team each week, but we are currently working with The 410 Bridge to mobilize as many teams as we can to help on various dates throughout the remainder of 2016. Would you consider partnering with us?
Please take a moment to let us know that you may be interested in participating on a relief team to Haiti by clicking "Apply" above. Answering these brief questions will not commit you to a team, it simply lets us know that you would like to hear more information as we have it. Note that some teams mobilize in a matter of weeks, and we may not have information far in advance.
