Oh my goodness! I am so excited to have been blessed with the opportunity to go on this trip. This is my first mission trip through global(x), however last Thanksgiving break my family and I traveled to Pavas, Costa Rica (a slum of San Jose) to build a house for a family in need. My eyes were opened during this trip and I felt I was being called back to Costa Rica to serve. I nervously applied for the Costa Rica seniors trip, and I told myself that no matter if I got in or not it was all in God's hands. I knew He wouldn't send me anywhere that I wasn't supposed to be or anywhere that I couldn't make a difference.
My hopes for this trip are that I can make an impact on one of the students in the school, and that my team and I can help to lead these children towards the Lord. Prayers and kind thoughts for my team and I as we embark on this journey!
