Allowing God to Move Me!

Hello dear friends and family,

Two years ago I was moved to partake in a medical mission trip utilizing my skills as a pharmacist along with a mix of other healthcare professionals and servants. We traveled to the Middle East to conduct a medical clinic for the local people.

The lessons I learned, the people we served, the friendships made, and the emotions and spirituality explored by all, I will never forget any of them. It was such an honor to serve, eat, travel, and sleep next to such a diverse group at all points in their relationship with God.

However, the most impactful souvenir I brought home was the memory of those we served. Their quality of living, gratitude for our presence, colllaboration with our team, and sheer need of love and respect were all so humbling. I witnessed a nurse washing an old man's crippled feet, a young boy sharing a picture he drew with a teammate, and doctor's caring blindly for all. There was no status, no judgement, no ccriticism for there, just as it should be everywhere, we were all God's children.

I am preparing to embark on another trip after the adoption of our final two daughters was finalIzed last Spring. Life is never settled, but the needs of others will never cease to exist. Won't you join me in supporting this desire to serve again? Any amount will be helpful. If you can't support at this time, I ask you pray for the team that will take this journey. Thank you very much in advance!

With love,

Val
