2026 Uganda - Adult
About the Journey
Be part of the meaningful work God is doing in Uganda as you build authentic relationships, worship alongside local believers, and serve with joy and humility in village communities. This adult journey blends hands-on service, deep relational investment, and moments of celebration as you walk closely with people and partners on the ground.
While in Uganda, you’ll serve alongside our partners at the Olugendo Community Center and local churches, supporting a Christ-centered approach to discipleship, encouragement, and community development. This journey is designed to come alongside local leaders and families as they invest daily in spiritual growth, education, and practical life skills.
While serving in Uganda, this journey team will participate in activities like:
- Worship and fellowship in village church services.
- Participate in home visits with community elders to listen, encourage, and pray.
- Teaching English, life skills, and work skills at the Olugendo Community Center.
- Engage in discipleship, evangelism, and daily relational presence.
- Support and refresh our long-term missionary serving in-country.
While the work you contribute to is important, the heart of this journey is relational—showing up consistently, listening well, and sharing life together. Uganda is a vibrant country marked by strong community, deep faith, and joyful worship. At the same time, many communities face challenges related to poverty, access to education, and limited resources. Our mission is to encourage and support local believers who are faithfully serving their neighbors and pointing others to Christ.
This journey is a great fit for…
- Adults with a heart for relational ministry and cross-cultural engagement.
- Those willing to serve with flexibility, humility, and a teachable spirit.
- Individuals eager to grow in faith through presence, encouragement, and shared life.
The journey concludes with a safari experience—an opportunity to celebrate all God has done, reflect on the relationships formed, and marvel together at God’s creation. If this sounds like you, get ready for a week filled with worship, learning, laughter, and meaningful connections in Uganda.
