About the Journey
Meet us at the beach!
This summer, this global(x) InsideOut team is heading to Emerald Isle, North Carolina, to work alongside Lighthouse Family Retreat. With its clear waters and quiet beaches, it’s the perfect spot to serve and make a real impact.
We’re looking for students who want to step up and serve in a meaningful way. You’ll spend the week helping families who are navigating childhood cancer—through pool days, beach games, shared meals, and everyday moments that show the love and hope of Jesus. You’ll also jump in with the Lighthouse team to help set up the retreat, keep everything running smoothly, and create an environment where families can rest, recharge, and find hope.
It’s a week packed with hands-on service, new friendships, and experiences you’ll carry with you long after the week ends—while leaving a real and lasting impact on the families you serve.
Before You Apply
A nonrefundable application fee of $150 per person is due at the time of application and will be applied toward each person's fundraising goal.

Global(x) is the missions ministry of North Point Ministries. We partner with Christian organizations that provide service opportunities that allow us to serve children and families, churches, and the least reached. Our mission is to engage people on faith-building journeys to serve others around the world.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Application.
- Tasks will be assigned upon approval. Completion of these tasks is REQUIRED for travel.
- All adults 18 and older will need to complete a background check.
