About the Journey

Bring your energy, enthusiasm, and sense of playfulness along on this journey to serve the children and families of a coffee-farming community in Guatemala.

Through our partnership with 410 Bridge, this family team will serve the local community through activities like:

  • Hosting Vacation Bible School.
  • Playing games and sports with local children.
  • Helping with small construction projects.
  • Participating in a coffee-brewing ceremony.
  • Visiting homes and learning about everyday life in a coffee-farming community.

While the projects you contribute to will help the community, the goal of this journey is relational investment in the children and families you’ll meet. Amid the scenic landscapes, a majority of Guatemalans live in poverty, and the country suffers from one of the highest income inequality rates in the world. Local leaders are doing their part to address these issues, and our mission is to encourage them along the way.

This journey is a great fit for…

  • Families who want to serve together (and everyone is at least 10 years old).
  • Young adults (or the young at heart) who are ready to play and have fun with local kids.
  • Anyone willing to learn about a new culture and meet new friends.
  • People who can push through long travel days.
  • Those who understand relational investment as a valuable act of service.

If this is you or your family, then get ready to kick a soccer ball around with new friends, build relationships with community members, and have a week you’ll never forget!
