About the Journey

This summer, our family will be part of a global(x) team traveling to serve children and families in the Pavas district of San José, Costa Rica. Through North Point Ministries’ partnership with Hope Partners International, our team will help with improvement projects and renovations at the local Hope Center; lead arts and crafts, sing-alongs, and games for the schoolchildren; and support the teachers and staff who are serving the community.

The Hope Center in Costa Rica facilitates a brighter future for families facing incredibly challenging circumstances in one of the poorest regions in the country. Our mission is to support the local leaders by bringing joy and encouragement to the children and families they serve. We can’t wait to learn about everyday life in this community as we meet and engage with the families who live there.
