About the Journey

Friends, after praying for the right time to go serve God's people, a door finally opened, and I am SO EXCITED! From May 11th to May 18th, I will be in Mérida, Mexico serving as a co-leader on a global(x) journey alongside Sowing a Vision!!  They’re an organization that serves churches, Christian institutions, and communities in need.

Our global(x) team is excited to work alongside the local community on a large construction project, most likely a church or community building. We’ll help build roofs, floors, or courts and paint auditoriums and multipurpose rooms. 

We’ll also have the opportunity to spend some time with the local children when we host Vacation Bible School. We’ll play games, teach arts and crafts classes, sing songs, and have fun with the kids. 

We’re looking forward to not only sharing the love of Christ, but also working alongside one another, connecting with the people of Mérida, and working together in their community.
