About the Journey

What’s it like for families who cross the U.S./Mexico border? For an honest, up close look into life on the border, come serve alongside our partner, Border Perspective, in Pharr, Texas. 

This global(x) team will be immersed in the lives of immigrant leaders who are serving families in crisis. You’ll have the opportunity to serve with local immigrant pastors and their ministries, volunteer at a local immigrant shelter, and engage with families who are currently seeking asylum. 

When you step into the immigrant culture of South Texas, you’ll gain a visual understanding of the southern border and the complexity that surrounds immigration. In addition, you’ll learn the importance of Scripture in Border Perspective’s ministry approach and reflect on how God wants you to use this experience once you return home.

If you’re ready for an immersive and educational experience in everyday life, ministry, and the political and humanitarian issues surrounding immigration, this is a unique opportunity.
