We’re going to Honduras! Would you join us… help us help the community of San Lorenzo? 

In July, I'm going to Honduras to serve the local community. We're volunteering with our church team and which will be led by Honduras Outreach (HOI).

Your donation makes our mission trip possible. Your money will not only help us get there, but it also funds the special projects undertaken while we’re there. These projects include home improvements, sanitation upgrades, and educational activities for the kids including a Vacation Bible School camp.

This trip is an opportunity for us — you included — to help the impoverished communities of San Lorenzo, Honduras flourish by living the good news we proclaim about Jesus while serving the local poor community in practical life-giving ways; many of which don't have access to clean running water.

It’s also a chance for us to grow in the love of God, strengthen our relationship with each other, and get outside of our American bubble. By donating, you’re helping to make the world, and this specific part of Honduras, a better place.

For us to make this happen, we need to raise $7,200 dollars —$2,400 each. Will you help us? Even if you only give five dollars, it would make a difference!

About the Journey

Through North Point Ministries’ partnership with HOI, our global(x) team is heading to Honduras. It’s the second-largest country in Central America, but also one of the poorest with nearly two-thirds of the population living in poverty. 

My team is getting ready to roll up our sleeves and help with home improvement and sanitation projects. These usually involve laying cement floors, making washbasins, and building latrines. Most of the people in these communities have no daily access to running water and improvements like these are the foundations for potential life-changing progress. 

We’ll also coordinate some interactive activities for the local school children and host a Vacation Bible School camp.  

Serving in Honduras will be both eye-opening and soul-filling. I’m looking forward to connecting with families and children, learning about their culture, and working alongside them to help create lasting impact in their community.
