About the Journey
Students, if you are under the age of 18 and will be at the time of travel, you will need a parent present to help you complete the Releases portion of the application.
A $150 application fee is due at the time of application and will be applied to each person’s fundraising goal.
Meet us at the beach!
Through our partnership with Lighthouse Family Retreat, this global(x) team of InsideOut students will head to St. Simons, Georgia. The largest barrier island in the Golden Isles, it’s known for its unhurried lifestyle, moss draped trees, and Southern charm.
We’re looking for a caring and compassionate team of InsideOut students who have a heart for serving others. As volunteers, you’ll play a critical role in creating a retreat experience that provides joy and hope for families living through childhood cancer. You’ll serve a particular guest family by helping with some daily chores, doing laundry and dishes, playing games with the kids, and allowing them the time and space to strengthen their relationships.The week is full of extravagant service and environments where families can get away, rest, restore relationships, and find hope in God!
This service trip is a memory maker and a transformational experience for the parents and children you serve, and it will be for you, too!

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Application.
- Valid Passport - Expiration date must be 6 months after trip return date.
- Tasks will be assigned if approved. Task completion is REQUIRED for travel.
- A $150 application fee is due at the time of application and will be applied to each person’s fundraising goal.
Restrictions
- Students should be involved in InsideOut at Woodstock City Church.
- All adults will need to submit to a Background Check.
