About the Journey
Did you know that Lebanon hosts the most refugees per capita of any country in the world? They’re facing a refugee crisis that’s considered the worst humanitarian crisis since World War II.
Our partner, Heart for Lebanon, works to meet the spiritual and physical needs of some of the most vulnerable families and children. They do this through care and education, relational engagement, and spiritual formation.
This global(x) team will work alongside the Heart for Lebanon staff to facilitate and engage local children in a sports Day Camp. It’ll include games, arts and crafts, Bible lessons, and a whole lot of fun! You’ll also visit families in their temporary homes and help distribute food and other necessities.
Globally, this is an area and a group of people who are in extreme need of hope and support. Spending time together, learning about the Syrian crisis, and seeing how God is at work in Lebanon will be an impactful and eye-opening experience.

We partner with Christian organizations that provide service opportunities that allow us to serve at-risk children and families, churches, and the least reached. Our mission is to engage people on these faith-building journeys to serve others around the world.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Application.
- All adults must agree to a background check.
- Valid Passport - Expiration date must be at least 6 months after your trip return date.
- All team members must agree to the terms of our releases, which are included in the journey application.
Restrictions
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Team members who are 12 years and older and who are traveling internationally must provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 (a positive antibody test will not be accepted) by the journey’s 50% fundraising milestone. Those who are unable to provide proof by this date will not be permitted to travel.
- All team members must adhere to the global(x) COVID-19 protocols, which can be found on our website: https://www.globalx.org/covid19-protocols.
- This journey is designed specifically for those who attend North Point Community Church. All team meetings will be held at or in the vicinity of the church. If you do not attend North Point and would like to apply, we may be able to add you to a waiting list in the event that the journey doesn't fill.
