About the Journey

Through our partnership with Lighthouse Family Retreat, this global(x) team will head to the Florida Panhandle, an area known for beautiful white beaches and turquoise water.

We’re looking for a team of caring and compassionate adults, students, and children who have a heart for serving others. On a Lighthouse Family Retreat, you'll experience a week of quality time together while you serve families living through childhood cancer. This service opportunity will be a memory-maker and a transformational experience for the parents and children you serve, as well as for you and your own family.

As a volunteer, you'll play a critical role in creating a retreat experience that provides joy and hope. You'll be paired with a family and serve them by helping with things like laundry and dishes, taking the kids to Lighthouse activities, and playing games together. But, most of all, you'll give them the space they need to strengthen their relationships with one another.

It's a week of extravagant acts of service that create environments where families who are living through childhood cancer can get away to rest, reconnect with one another, experience joy, and find hope in God.

You are responsible for your own transportation to and from Lighthouse. The cost listed is per person.
