2021 Costa Rica Engagement
About the Journey
Through our partnership with Hope Partners, this global(x) team will head to Costa Rica. This Central American country is a success story in terms of development. However, in some areas of the country, families still live in extreme poverty and have little opportunity, especially in the city of Pavas.
We’re looking to build an energetic team of adults ready to engage with local children and families. They’ll be working on school and community improvement projects, such as painting, renovations, planting, cleaning, and organization. The team will also have the opportunity to spend time with school children and their teachers as they lead activities, including arts and crafts, sing-alongs, and interactive games.
Seeing their struggles and sharing the love of Jesus with the Costa Rican people will be an eye-opening and humbling experience. If you have a heart for children and are excited to engage and encourage them, this is the journey for you!

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Application.
- All adults will need to submit to a Background Check.
- Valid Passport - Expiration date must be 6 months after trip return date.
- All team members must agree to the terms of our Releases, which are a part of the trip application.
- All team members must adhere to the global(x) COVID-19 protocols which can be found on our website: https://www.globalx.org/covid19-protocols
Restrictions
- Must be at least 18 years old.
