2020 Kenya Community Development 1

Jul 16 2020 - Jul 25 2020

About the Journey

About the Journey

Through our partnership with 410 Bridge, this global(x) team will head to Kenya. With snow-capped mountains, expansive forests, and open plains, Kenya is a geographically diverse country located on the equator in eastern Africa.
We’re looking to build a relational team that’s ready to connect with and work alongside  the local people. This team will continue the work of the teams before them, which is to lay the foundation for long-term ministry and grow relationships.

This team will work with the 410 Bridge staff and the community’s local Leadership Council. The Leadership Council consists of pastors and other respected leaders who are well versed in the needs of their community and their neighbors. The Leadership Council ensures the team’s time is spent in the most impactful ways. Alongside locals and 410 Bridge staff, the team will work on community projects and use the local process of building with local tools. Goals of the trip are to encourage the community, share the Gospel, and address basic community needs.

Other activities include engaging with the locals through home visits, prayer walks, and attending the local church. Also, towards the end of your visit, the team heads out on an African safari!
Sharing the love of Jesus with the Kenyan community is life-giving and is truly a fulfilling experience. If you’re interested in serving this trip to Kenya, apply today!

A visa is REQUIRED for entry to Kenya, and is the responsibility of the team member. See "Prerequisites" and "Forms" below.
