Before You Apply

• A $150 nonrefundable application fee PER PERSON is due at the time of application and will be applied to each person’s fundraising goal. 
• The cost listed is PER PERSON.
• Minors will need a parent/guardian present to help complete the Releases portion of the application.
• A SEPARATE application is required for EACH family member who would like to participate.

About the Journey

When a child is battling cancer, the whole family is impacted by the unimaginable weight. Could there be a better place than the beach for families to find much-needed rest, relaxation, and relational connection? 

Join us on a global(x) journey as we partner with Lighthouse Family Retreat in the Florida Panhandle. We're looking for a team of caring and compassionate families who would love to have the opportunity to serve other families and their children who are living through childhood cancer. Your entire family can serve together, including children as young as 4 years old.

As volunteers, you'll be paired with a guest family and serve them by helping with things like laundry and dishes. You’ll play games and take the kids to Lighthouse activities. Most of all, you'll give the family the space they need to strengthen their relationships. It's a week of extravagant acts of service that create environments where families can have fun, reconnect with one another, experience joy, and find hope in God.

This service opportunity is a memory maker and a transformational experience for the parents and children you serve, as well as for you and your family.
