Serving in Port Maria, Jamaica a few years ago was one of the most rewarding and life-changing opportunities I've had. When I heard about the chance to serve in Haiti this summer, my heart leapt, and I felt the Lord calling me to go. If you know me, you know I love working with kids. I teach 7th graders and volunteer in Waumba Land at Buckhead Church. Having the opportunity to invest in Haitian students and their community is such a blessing, and I am ecstatic for what the Lord has planned for this trip. I have found it is when I step out of my comfort zone that God moves in incredible and tangible ways. I humbly and prayerfully embrace the opportunity to serve in such an incredible way. Looking forward to the great things God has in store!
