I had the incredible opportunity to go on two mission trips to Jamaica when I was in college. I saw God move in amazing ways and was changed forever. I have been itching for another opportunity to serve in a place outside of my comfort zone. When I heard about this trip to Haiti, I felt God telling me "Yes! Go!"
If you know me, you know I love working with kids. I teach 7th grade and volunteer in Waumba Land, the nursery at my church. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to love and invest in Haitian students. I know God is doing, and will do great things through them!
I ask you to partner in prayer with me over my trip and the people I will meet. My prayer is to serve the Haitians in the way that will bring them the most comfort and joy. Although my time there will be short, I hope they will see Jesus during my time with them.
