Before You Apply
- COVID-19 restrictions are still in place around the world but may differ by country and partner. Please review the most current protocols for journeys HERE.
- Students who are under the age of 18 and will be at the time of travel will need a parent present to complete the Releases portion of the application.
- A $150 application fee is due at the time of application and will be applied to each person’s fundraising goal.
- Minors who will be under the age of 18 at the time of international travel must submit a notarized parental consent form approving travel for all parents/guardians who are not traveling with them.
About the Journeys
COSTA RICA | June 3-10, 2023 | $2,700
¡Pura Vida! Join us in Costa Rica to work alongside our partner, Hope Partners. This global(x) team of InsideOut students will serve a local school in an impoverished community in Costa Rica. You’ll work on projects that include painting, renovating, planting, cleaning, and organizing. You’ll also have the opportunity to spend time with the school children and their teachers as the team leads fun activities like arts and crafts, sing-a-longs, and interactive games.
EL SALVADOR | June 24-July 1, 2023 | $2,400
Through our partnership with La Casa de mi Padre, this global(x) team of InsideOut students will spend time connecting with vulnerable children and families in Santo Tomás, El Salvador. You’ll take on projects like painting, landscaping, planting, cleaning, organizing, and any other needs the community may have. You’ll have time to get to know the children and the families that live on the property and hike to visit with and deliver meals to families in the surrounding villages.

Global(x) is the missions ministry of North Point Ministries. We partner with Christian organizations that provide service opportunities that allow us to serve at-risk children and families, churches, and the least reached. Our mission is to engage people on these faith-building journeys to serve others around the world.

Prerequisites
- Application.
- Valid Passport - Expiration date must be 6 months after trip return date.
- Tasks will be assigned if approved. Task completion is REQUIRED for travel.
- A $150 application fee is due at the time of application and will be applied to each person’s fundraising goal.
Restrictions
- Students should be involved in InsideOut at East Cobb Church.
- All team members must adhere to the global(x) COVID-19 protocols which can be found on our website: https://www.globalx.org/covid19-protocols
- All adults will need to submit to a Background Check.
