About the Journeys

GUATEMALA  |  June 3-10, 2023  |  $2,700

Through our partnership with 410 Bridge, this global(x) team of InsideOut students will head to Guatemala. You’ll work in a high-altitude coffee farming area and learn about coffee cherry farming, which is vital to the local livelihood. Many children skip school during harvest season, so you’ll have the opportunity to see families working together, each doing their share to support one another. You’ll also help with a day of Vacation Bible School, play games and sports with the Guatemalan children, help with small construction projects, and visit homes in the community.

UGANDA  |  June 6-15, 2023  |  $3,400

Through our partnership with Champions United, this global(x) team of InsideOut students will head to Uganda, a country situated on the equator in Eastern Africa. Get ready to actively engage with the Ugandan students at a local primary school, promote positive values, and help them develop valuable leadership skills. The team’s main focus is to plan and facilitate a two-day UpStreet-style "Kids Camp", but you may also play field day games with students and have an opportunity to help with their literacy program.

COSTA RICA  |  June 10-17, 2023  |  $2,700

¡Pura Vida! Join us in Costa Rica to work alongside our partner, Hope Partners. This  global(x) team of InsideOut students will serve a local school in an impoverished community in Costa Rica. You’ll work on projects that include painting, renovating, planting, cleaning, and organizing. You’ll also have the opportunity to spend time with the school children and their teachers as the team leads fun activities like arts and crafts, sing-a-longs, and interactive games.

GEORGIA  |  June 25-July 1, 2023  |  $1,350

Serve in the sun and the sand! This global(x) InsideOut team will head to St. Simons Island, Georgia to work alongside our partner, Lighthouse Family Retreat. As volunteers, you’ll play a critical role in creating a retreat experience that provides joy and hope for families living through childhood cancer. You’ll be paired with a guest family and serve them by helping with some daily chores, doing laundry and dishes, playing games with the kids, and allowing them the time and space to strengthen their relationships. The week is full of extravagant service and environments where families can get away, rest, restore relationships, and find hope in God!
