2017 Mexico Transit 1
Team members will work with members of Shalom Church in Merida, Mexico. The trip's focus will be on strategic service projects and meeting the needs of the church and community. Projects may include light construction, painting, and teaching the local children about Christ through Vacation Bible Schools. You will have the opportunity to interact with local leaders, community members, and children while building relationships.
We are looking for rising eighth-grade students who are involved in Transit, each accompanied by one of their parents (24 people maximum).

Prerequisites
- Application
- Valid Passport - Expiration date must be 6 months after trip return date
- Once selected and approved, you will need to sign Team Covenant/Agreement and Releases
- Adults must submit to a background check
Restrictions
- All students must be involved in Transit
- All students must be in 7th grade during the 2016-2017 school year
- Team is made up of student/parent pairs. One parent per student is eligible to participate
