Hey there! I have gotten the amazing opportunity to go to Honduras this summer with Gwinnett Church, I will be gone July 15th-22nd. This is my first mission trip and I couldn't be more excited to be a light of God to the people that I encounter. While down there, I will be helping families, working on construction, leading bible studies and sharing the love of God. I have to raise $1800 and it would be greatly appreciated if you helped by donating either in money or prayers! "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms" 1 Peter 4:10. HOI, Inc. is a nondenominational, nonprofit Christian organization headquartered in Tucker, Georgia. One of its bases of operation, Rancho el Paraiso, is in central Honduras. At this location and the surrounding villages, HOI's staff focuses on six active programs: medical, education, spiritual life, agriculture, community development, and short-term missions. Depending on the projects specified for the village the team will work with, the team may do one or more of the following: mix cement to provide floors and latrines for families; build chimneys, roofs, and/or room additions; serve a family by helping create gardens for their homes; and conduct Bible studies for children or adults.  global(x) is North Point Ministries’ international division.  We believe when people engage in service, it leads to life change. So we created global(x) trips, opportunities for people to serve together in various locations around the world. Our belief is that as people choose to serve, whether in one of our churches, in the local community, or around the world, the impact of that service will change lives—for those serving, for the people they serve, and even for those that see them choosing to give their time to help someone else.
