2017 Costa Rica Transit 2
Working with our partner church in Costa Rica, the team will engage in projects such as construction, painting, renovations, and organization. In addition, they will spend time connecting with vulnerable families and children through games, arts, and relationship building. Spanish speakers are great assets, but English-speaking staff are also available to help translate.
We are looking for students who are in 7th grade (during the 2016-2017 school year), who are actively involved in Transit, and who can be accompanied by one of their parents (46 people maximum).

This is our first official team meeting. Please try to arrive a few minutes early to get your name tag and seat. At this meeting not only will you meet your team for the first time, you will also get your future meeting schedule, hear details about your specific trip, and get all the details on managing your fundraising page. Please bring a color copy of your passport to the first meeting if possible.

Parental Consent Form Required
This form must be filled out and signed for all minors by the non-traveling parent in the presence of a notary. You must submit the original hard copy of the form to global(x).
Minor Team, Financial, Talent, and Medical Agreements Required

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Application
- Valid Passport - Expiration date must be 6 months after trip return
- Once selected and approved - you will need to sign Team Covenant/Agreement and Releases
- Adults must submit to a background check
Restrictions
- All students must be involved in Transit
- All students must be in 7th grade during the 2016-2017 school year
- Team is made up of student/parent pairs. One parent per student is eligible to participate
